West Equatorial Africa SPAN (Phase I) consists of a total of 7609 km line of data:
- Ghana (5519 km)
- Togo (711 km)
- Benin (1379 km)
Typically SPAN lines are positioned to tie key wells, recent discoveries and cross play fairways. The lines are positioned to complement existing seismic data.
The SPANs provide a regional framework of PSTM and PSDM data for regional geological studies, petroleum systems, and basin modeling.
Because of the uniform acquisition and processing, the new data provides a valuable calibration for AVO, phase rotation & amplitude balancing of existing datasets and for application of future technologies.
